The Vision

The vision was never simply to organise another community event. It was to create an experience that celebrated African and Asian culture, brought communities together, and supported local businesses — delivered with the discipline of professional project management.

Engaged as Lead Project Manager for Impact Women Network, Events By RSquare approached the festival as more than an event — treating it as a project with clear objectives, defined stakeholders, governance requirements and risks to manage. Across six months, we led strategic planning, sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, risk management, on-the-day delivery and post-project reporting, working alongside the Council, Safety Advisory Group, sponsors, vendors and community groups to bring the celebration to life.

A celebration of African and Asian culinary heritage, giving food vendors a platform to showcase their craft and reach new audiences.
